One Address. Every Client Nearby

Your VM lives behind a native anycast IP hosted by our global edge network. Clients anywhere in the world connect to the nearest edge, so latency is the best it can be no matter where they are, and the address never changes.

What the Anycast Address Buys You

Announced Globally

The global edge network announces your instance’s IP from every anycast site at once. There is no primary region and no failover copy: the same address is simply present everywhere.

Best Latency, Everywhere

The internet routes each client to the nearest edge, so a player in Berlin and a player in Dallas both take their shortest path to the same IP. Nobody is on the wrong side of the world.

Filtering Built In

Every path into the address passes the same line-rate DDoS filtering. Attacks fragment across the network and die at the nearest edge; gameplay and traffic carry on.

No Detours

The workload runs on the same network that announces its address, so there is no scrubbing-center round trip and no forwarding hop. What the filter passes, the VM serves.

The Region Question Disappears

Ordinary hosting makes you choose where to be, and everyone far from that choice pays for it in milliseconds. An anycast-hosted VM is close to your users by definition, so "which region should we pick" stops being a question at all.

Built on the Global Network

The address rides the same edge documented on the Network page, verifiable through public looking glasses, and the same anycast delivery that protects everything else we run.

Be Close to Everyone

Deploy a VM and its anycast address is announced by the global edge from the first boot
